Sunny White Rock / South Surrey is a beach-side community located just south of Vancouver BC and 1.5 miles north of the US / Canada border crossing on the Semiahmoo peninsula. The area boasts a warm, dry climate with significantly less rain and more hours of sunshine than Vancouver.

Over the past five years White Rock city has completed a number of segments of a total walkway system which includes small park areas, and completion of the waterfront promenade several kilometres in length provides a year-round amenity for both residents and visitors.
